Personal development, team spirit & community have been at the forefront of Clean Shield’s business ethos right from day one, and along with hard work and determination,

they have no doubt been central to the success of the business so for.

Our founder and MD, Kathy Price, feels passionately about this and wherever possible likes to get involved in supporting local community projects, especially those that can benefit young people’s personal development.

For the last few years Clean Shield have proudly supported (through sponsorship) our local football club, Quedgeley Wanderers FC.

A club that for many years been a stalwart of the local community, providing a safe & supportive environment to boys & girls of all ages to nurture their footballing and team building talents.

So, it was with great pleasure that Clean Shield took up the kind offer from Joe Alps of QWFC to sponsor and present the end of season trophies at this year’s Presentation Day.

The day itself was a great success, with the weather being kind, the trophies were presented by Clean Shield’s Area Manager, Kerry Harris who was ably assisted on the day by her daughter Lexi.

Kerry said “it was lovely to be part of the day and to see the excitement and pride in the faces of those receiving their trophies. I was so impressed be everyone I met at QWFC and the great work they do for the Quedgeley community in general”.

Clean Shield MD, Kathy Price, said “It was lovely to hear the report from Kerry about the presentation day and the great work that QWFC do. It was especially pleasing to hear that children as young as three are learning the game; apart from the health benefits, being part of a team and being coached will provide those young people with life skills they can utilise for the rest of their lives.”
