A Bit about Kathy

Having worked in the industry for over 30 years, you can rest assured that I am committed to providing a high standard of cleaning. I began cleaning at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where I became a supervisor. I later worked for a large cleaning company and was promoted to Contracts Manager.

I experienced first hand the detrimental effects of managing too many contracts, so I set up my own business, Clean Shield Professional Ltd, to provide a quality service throughout the local Gloucestershire area.

My aim is to achieve excellent customer service in the Gloucestershire area. Being based in Gloucester means we are quickly available and always nearby, unlike national cleaning companies.

Customer Peace of Mind

For our customers peace of mind, every single member of the Clean Shield staff are DBS checked (Disclosure and Barring Service) which check for any criminal records amongst other things. Clean Shield are fully insured for all eventualities.

Should our Customer not be completely happy…

On the very rare occasion that a customer might have cause to complain, we always take any complaint seriously. I personally look into the matter in hand and find a timely solution. We don’t sweep it under the carpet, we deal with it.

The Environment is important to us…

On a green note, the environment is important to Clean Shield and as such, we have a no-chemical policy, wherever practical or possible. There is no substitute for good elbow grease! We also make sure that any disposals we have are dealt with in the correct and recommended disposal policy. Although we are a very small part in a big wide world, we always, without fail, consider the environment.
