Needed a good job doing in a tight timeframe when the business was closed to the public. Clean Shield Professional Services have been cleaning multiple Robert Hitchins sites throughout Gloucester and Stonehouse for three years now. They always provide an excellent service. Sarah in particular has become a valuable member of our estate team, nothing is ever too much trouble and she always tackles those extra jobs without complaint. Her attention to detail keeps my customers happy and therefore she has a really important role within the business. Jake is always a phone call away to complete those specialist carpet and hard floor cleans plus any high level cleaning tasks that crop up and behind the scenes Kathy and Terri run the whole operation professionally; customer service and approachability are their key skills while never forgetting their sense of humour. When I heard from the Clean Shield MD, Kathy, that they had just made a significant investment in a new carpet cleaning machine, I asked Kathy if they did domestic as well as commercial carpets. I was interested in having our lounge carpet professionally cleaned as an alternative to its replacement in the short term. Kathy took some basic details, confirmed that our carpet would be suitable and agreed a date/time to suit us. We had very little to do in preparation- just to move some of the smaller furniture out of the room and move the bigger furniture to one side. Clean Shield arrived spot on the agreed time, and quickly set-up and set to work on the carpet. They were able to talk knowledgeably about the condition of the carpet and advised up-front that there were a couple of small stains, luckily tucked away in corners, that they were unlikely to remove. Their operative, Jake, was polite and respectful of our house throughout the process, tidying-up behind himself if he needed to use our kitchen/utility for water etc. It didn't seem to take very long at all and within less than an hour Clean Shield were packing their kit away again. It was clear immediately that the carpet had cleaned well and it was noticeably improved. It was also virtually dry before Clean Shield had even departed. All we had to then do was give it a quick vacuum and replace the furniture. The service was very good, the results excellent and I was even impressed that the price for a carpet of the size of our fairly large lounge was only £60. This included travel time to/from Gloucester and so I know that for a whole house it would be even better value. Overall my wife Danielle and I were very impressed by Clean Shield's carpet cleaning service and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or indeed to recommend them to any domestic or commercial carpet cleaning requirement. I wanted to thank you for the speed and efficiency with which you cleaned my quarry tile floor in the kitchen and the bathroom. Following the extensive building work it was nice to sit back and relax in the knowledge that the rooms would be left immaculate. As you know the rooms were in a terrible state and required extensive cleaning. You were also sensitive to the age of the house and natural floors you were cleaning, avoiding harsh chemicals where you felt they were not appropriate. I've certainly never seen the quarry tiles so clean. The rooms were a pleasure to move back into. Thank you.
