A few weeks ago a letter landed on my desk from a Clean Shield Team member who, unfortunately, was handing in her notice.
As in many aspects of life, this was a bitter sweet moment for me as Sarah, the lady who had written the letter has been a pleasure to work with from her very first day at Clean Shield.
Sarah embodies everything that as an employer you could wish for: hardworking, trustworthy and conscientious to name but a few and throughout her Clean Shield career she has been doing a sterling job looking after the cleaning needs at Bonds Mill in Stonehouse.
From all the beautiful flowers, chocolates, gifts & cards received by Sarah from the people at Bonds Mill it is obvious her dedication and hard working ethic had not gone un-noticed at her place of work either.
Clean Shield MD Kathy Price said “It is always sad when any company loses a valued member of staff, but after talking with Sarah she had been offered a new role as a dinner lady at her local school where the hours suited her own child caring needs better. On behalf of everyone at Clean Shield I would like to thank Sarah and wish her well in her new career”.
Sarah’s resignation reads: “Dear Kathy & Terry I regret to inform you that I’ll be handing in my two weeks resignation. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Cleanshield, so much so it has taken a lot to come to where I am now. I would like to take this time to thank you so very very much for believing in me and giving me that chance with you – just know I have loved working for you and Bondmsill. Kind Regards, Sarah”.
