no support from their previous employee and morale was very low.
Our MD Kathy Price knew that what was needed was a large sprinkling of positivity to raise morale and make people feel a part of the Clean Shield Team. So she sent in Clean Shield’s very own Mr Positive, Dave H, as the new Site Supervisor.
Dave quickly got to work, holding one to one meetings with all of the staff, discussing their individual concerns, looking at their workload, the equipment they had and most important of all the standard of training (if any) that their previous employer had given.
Once this was done Dave devised an action plan around the Clean Shield way, that included the right training & development being put in place, along with the right equipment and tools for the job and new systems that meant working smarter & not harder.
Fast forward 6 months – and following the implementation of the action plan, morale has never been higher at the site, with everyone now very much feeling part of the Clean Shield Family.
Of course the added benefit has been to the client who has noticed how the changes have greatly improved the quality of the Commercial Cleaning at their site.
MD Kathy Price said, “Dave’s introduction of new systems and initiatives have greatly improved the working environment for the Commercial Cleaning Team on the site and I take great pleasure in seeing the massive shift change in the Personal Development & morale of the individual team members”.
It is worth pointing out that Dave has other strings to his bow apart from his Positivity & Management Skills, Dave has recently undertaken a PAT Testing course himself so he can help out with Clean Shield’s PAT Testing Service.
