We’re back with another instalment of our ‘Meet the Team’ blog series — and today, we’re excited to introduce you to Jessica, a valued and familiar face here at Clean Shield Professional Ltd.
Jessica has been with us on and off for over 12 years, and in that time, she’s proven herself to be not only dependable and hardworking, but also incredibly adaptable — balancing her responsibilities at work with her family life in a way that reflects the flexible and supportive culture we strive for at Clean Shield.
A Versatile Role and a Valued Team Member
Jessica is a real all-rounder. She works both as a cleaner and in the Clean Shield office every Friday, supporting the team behind the scenes with organisation and admin. Her ability to switch between practical and operational tasks makes her an essential part of our day-to-day success.
One of the reasons Jessica enjoys working with Clean Shield so much is the flexibility it offers around her children. As a parent, finding work-life balance can be a challenge — but Jessica’s role allows her to contribute meaningfully to the team while being there for her family too. It’s this kind of flexibility that makes Clean Shield a great place to work, and why we’re proud to have her with us.
Outside of Work: Jessica’s Favourite Things
When she’s not helping us keep standards high, Jessica enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones.
Family Days Out – She loves exploring new places and making memories with her children on family day trips.
Long Walks with Mum – One of her favourite ways to unwind is heading out for a peaceful stroll with her mum – a chance to enjoy the outdoors and catch up on life.
Investing in Growth: Biohazard Training Coming Soon
We’re also proud to announce that Jessica is one of four dedicated team members currently preparing to complete advanced accredited training in Biohazard Cleaning next month.
This specialist qualification covers critical topics such as:
• Hazardous Waste Handling
• Trauma Scene Cleaning
• Infection Control Protocols
It’s part of our ongoing commitment to raising the bar in professional cleaning standards across Gloucestershire. Once certified, Jessica will be fully equipped to carry out sensitive and complex cleaning tasks in full compliance with UK health and safety regulations – ensuring our clients can continue to trust Clean Shield with even the most specialist of cleaning needs.
