Regular readers of the Clean Shield blog will know of our MD Kathy Price commitment to personal development opportunities of all our Team Members
, but that commitment does not stop with the company, Kathy is also passionate about the local community we work in especially supporting local sports teams.
This season Clean Shield is proud to be supporting Cheltenham Town Development Under 11s football team by sponsoring their new kit. This team holds a special place personally for me as it is the team my son Harry currently plays for and I know this sponsorship will go a long way to making the season a successful one.
This is not the first time Harry has featured in a Clean Shield blog about his sporting achievements, as apart from football he also shares a passion of mine, running, in particular Cross Country running. Since that article earlier in the year we have received many emails asking how his running career is coming along.
I’m proud to say Harry recently came 8th out of 144 at the Gloucester City Schools, Cross Country trials held at Plock Court and as a result has now progressed to the Gloucester City Cross Country Training Squad who train at Ribston Hall and will hopefully get picked in the new year trials to represent Gloucester City in the County Championship being held at Newent Community School on March the 19th.
Clean Shield MD Kathy Price said “I am always happy to support local sporting teams whenever possible as I know even a little support can go a long way and I know how much that sport can help our younger generation to become well rounded young adults, I am particularly proud of Harry as I know how hard he works to achieve his goals both on and off the sports field.”
