The importance of flexible working hours seems to be a very topical subject in the press at the moment
and whilst for some companies this may not always be a practical solution, for Clean Shield we have recognised the importance of flexibility in the workplace for many years.
As Commercial Cleaners in Gloucestershire, we realise when employing, that reliability and flexible working hours go hand in hand.
Many of the Clean Shield Team had to think about their own child-care priorities when they were originally looking for employment and chose to come and work at Clean Shield because of the flexibility we offer.
One such person is 29 year old Justine, who joined us in early January 2020 and already proved to be a valuable member of the Clean Shield Team, with her can do attitude.
Justine says, “I enjoy working at Clean Shield, not only because everyone is friendly, supportive and made me feel very welcome but also, they understand that as a single mum I need to walk my young son to and from school.
I am part of the Agency Cleaning Team so everyday is different, which is great as I love to keep busy and on the go.
As I am currently learning to drive, on the day’s I am working my Clean Shield team mates pick me up in the works vehicles and drop me off when my shift has ended, this has been a great help to me.
Outside of work, I treasure being a mummy, my son is my world. I enjoy Bingo, cooking at home and eating out, but love nothing better than getting out in the fresh air on nature walks with my son.
I look forward to working at Clean Shield for many years to come”.
Clean Shield MD Kathy Price says “Justine has really settled into life at Clean Shield and grasped the opportunity with both hands, Justine is up very early for work and proven that flexibility works both ways by helping Kerry out at very short notice, and always with a smile on her face.
Because of Justine’s positive attitude she is now on a permanent contract and I am really pleased that Justine wishes to have a career with Clean Shield”.
