Every year when September comes round you can hear the whole Clean Shield Team make a sigh of relief
as they know that one of the busiest times of year for Clean Shield, is finally coming to an end. Yes, the schools and colleges have re-opened their gates after the six-week summer holiday.
And as the pupils file their way along the corridors & back into the classroom for the new term, all happy to see their classmates, and show off their new uniform I often wonder if they notice how bright and clean the walls, windows, door frames and skirting boards are, or the floral smell of the recently steam cleaned upholstery and not forgetting the shine coming from the freshly buffed floors.
Even before the noise from the final bell had waned back in mid-July, the Clean Shield, School Deep Cleaning Teams were getting to work on the first of their Schools, all of them knowing that the next couple of months would be almost non-stop.
Of course, for Clean Shield the summer holiday is not only about school and college deep cleans, we have all our regular Commercial Cleaning duties to perform, as well as our Agency Cleaners covering the holiday period, when companies own cleaning teams have themselves a well deserved break.
And how might you ask do we manage this busy period at Clean Shield, well in a nutshell, Teamwork!
The whole of Clean Shield know that at this time of the year they all have to step up to the plate, put in those extra few hours and most importantly work as a Team.
